Sermon for August 6th, 2017
We are infatuated with superheroes. We love that they can do things that are beyond the normal and regular. They come to save people from evil and make the world a better place to live. The problem with superheroes is that they are made up. They come from the mind of a creator who also wants to tell a story people will want to read. We will look at the Gospel of Matthew and see Jesus doing many things that go beyond the normal. This is not made up but shows that Jesus is beyond a regular guy but God in flesh.
This week we will look at the feeding of the 5,000. Jesus teaches us about who he is and what he has come to do.
